The past few weeks have resulted in iterative improvements to my office workspace. After visiting a few Red Hat offices, it dawned on me that my office wasn’t what it should be. The improvements have helped me mentally in numerous ways. They’ve also allowed me to think more broadly about a number of things. Read more →I spent most of the week in Durham, NC. I was pretty busy all week trying to learn while maintaining a full calendar. Meeting new people and figuring out where I can help them scale out their needs is something I’m familiar with. What I’m not familiar with is the massive company that is Red Hat. It’s not the products or the people I don’t get; it’s the enormity. Having a moment or two to think about it, the bigger a company gets, the longer it seems it’ll take to get up to speed.
